Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The meal in the local pub was very good and the servers very attentive and friendly.

Negative: The receptionist was not helpful or particularly friendly. She did not have a welcoming attitude, did not explain what the 2 keys were for or how to find the cottage I was staying in with clear directions. Her pen lined pathway was complicated by the small signage of the cottages near the main Inn. I spent a lot of time trying to find it and an open door to Maple Glen when I realized that one key fit the front doors and the other the room door. She also did not inform me that an option was to leave my key in the room upon departure rather than at the reception desk.

Summary: Very clean and safe for a single traveller passing through, with ample parking and good food.
