Positive: Spring Mill is located in the state park so beautiful surroundings, lovely walking trails, and peaceful . The inn itself was what a forest resort brings to mind, large stone walls, with lots of wood , big fireplace in main room and dining hall a great mountain/forest vibe. Loved it! We ate dinner in dining hall both nights we stayed at the inn. Both nights the food was good. I have seen posts that were negative about cost of food- being from California we thought it was not pricey at all! Plus it was nice to eat in a lovely place that wasn't noisy or had televisions. Nothing ruins ambiance and dining out than having TVs all around a restaurant. We also enjoyed the Gus Gissom little museum at the park entrance.

Negative: The queen room was small and would have liked a bit better lighting in the room. But we liked that everything was new!

Summary: Beautiful place to stay we would definitely recommend to others.
