Summary: Overall it all worked out and we had a good visit on the mountain. The location was perfect to rent our gear from wolf lodge and we snowboarded both Sugar and Beech mountain. There were just a few things I would have liked to seen done differently. First when we checked in and I asked about the ski passes listed on the amenities of the reservation the front desk pretty much let me know they had no idea what I was talking about and they do not write the descriptions on hotels.com and basically too bad. Obviously I was upset because I could have chosen a place with a hot tub or one that at least provided blankets and pillows for the pull out couch. Not only that but our reservation was for 6 people but the 3 tiny pots in the room were pretty useless for our group. The bathroom was also not clean, there was hair in the tub, on the toilet, and in the corners of the bathroom. The beds and towels were clean and fresh however. My kids also enjoyed the apple cider and hot coco that was provided in the lobby. The pool table was ok but they definitely need new sticks. The restaurant next door was a savior when it was open because its slim pickens once you are up the mountain.
