Summary: This "lodge" home is well-appointed and spacious. We had 9 guests and we did not feel crowded at all. There is plenty of space inside on both floors and many, lovely, covered outdoor spaces to gather. We especially loved having our morning coffee out on the deck, listening to the birds and watching the wildlife. There was a deer grazing in the front yard during our stay. It is a very peaceful, quiet place to get away and unplug! The furniture and beds are comfortable. The dining table accommodated our entire group, but is a better fit for 8 adults. It would work for more if not all adults. The kitchen is a bit small and the layout isn't the best, but it is definitely workable and we loved having the griddle on the stove for making pancakes. The BBQ grill is also very nice. The host was very welcoming, responsive and helpful with information about the area.
