Summary: I recently stayed here and had a mixed experience. The hotel is new and clean, but I had two issues during my stay. First, the windows in the room were screwed and glued shut and could not be opened for fresh air. Staff said this was to keep flies out, although the windows had screens, so that explanation didn’t fully make sense to me. The room also had a noticeable fragrance, which I found unpleasant, especially since I’m sensitive to strong scents. Being unable to ventilate the room made that worse. Second, the noise insulation seemed extremely limited. I could clearly hear a neighboring guest snoring and conversations and footsteps from the room above. It was loud enough that I needed earplugs and headphones to sleep. One smaller note: the bath products contained sulfates fairly high on the ingredient list. For a hotel in this price range, I would have expected more eco-conscious or higher-quality products. Overall, the building is clean and rooms are large, but people who are sensitive to noise, fragrances, or who like fresh air in hotel rooms may want to keep these things in mind.
